LAND ISSUES

One of Kenya’s most pressing issues is that of land. Kenya’s land issues are complex, deeply rooted and multifaceted, stretching deep from the colonial era when these issues were birthed, into the heart of contemporary economics, politics, and society.

In this complex landscape, OUR LAND, OUR FREEDOM explores the efforts of two groups working towards equitable land redistribution. They each advocate for the compensation and resettlement of displaced communities, emphasizing the need for justice and the return of land to its rightful owners.
